Frequently asked questions

Is this just Roblox?

No. Most of class is teacher-led lesson and guided practice. Roblox is used to apply what was taught.

Is there a teacher teaching the class?

Yes. Every class is taught live by a teacher. Roblox is used after teaching and guided practice to help your child apply the concept.

Is this MOE-aligned?

Yes. Ottodot classes are built around Singapore Primary Math and Science concepts.

How do the classes work?

Your child joins a live online class with a Singapore teacher, learns the concept, practises with guided questions, applies it in a Roblox mission, then completes weekly homework for review.

How long is each class?

Each class is 75 minutes: about 40 minutes of teaching and guided practice, 25 minutes of Roblox application, plus Q&A.

Is there homework?

Yes. Math homework has around 10 questions weekly. Science homework has around 6-7 questions weekly.

What happens after the trial?

We share teacher feedback and recommend whether Math, Science, or both subjects are a good fit.
