What felt difficult
When Ziyad entered Primary 4, his mum noticed that Science concepts were becoming harder for him to grasp. He often doubted his answers, got confused, and did not know what to write. That left him feeling disappointed with himself. Ziyad recalls failing a Science exam before joining Ottodot.
02 / THE LEARNING JOURNEY
Finding a way forward
His mum chose Ottodot because the interactive, game-based lessons matched his interest in games. She sometimes sat in on his sessions and learned alongside him, which helped them understand the material when revising together. Ziyad particularly enjoyed Roblox, while the lessons helped him learn how to approach and answer Science questions.

What changed along the way
His mum noticed that Ziyad became more confident answering questions and enjoyed revising independently. Instead of doubting himself, he looked forward to working through more questions. Ziyad says that after joining Ottodot, he passed Science and did much better than in his midterm exam.
