Minister Highlights Ottodot's Impact on Education and Racial Harmony at Prestigious Festival

Singapore — Ottodot was exclusively featured at Harmony Fest '24, thanks to a notable mention by Minister Edwin Tong. In his keynote address, Tong highlighted Ottodot's role as an exclusive partner with Singapore Sports Hub and the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY) for this year’s festival.

Ottodot: A Pillar of Education, Games, and Racial Harmony

Minister Tong commended Ottodot for its innovative blend of education, gaming, and racial harmony. He showcased how Ottodot's technology not only enhances learning experiences but also fosters a deeper understanding of cultural diversity through its educational games. This recognition is a notable boost for Ottodot, affirming its role in promoting inclusivity and community engagement.

Customized Lobby: A Festive Touch

For the festival, Ottodot went above and beyond by customizing the event’s virtual lobby, creating a vibrant and welcoming space that resonated with the festival’s themes. The lobby was adorned with handprints featuring words like "trust," "co-operation," "respect," and "harmony," reflecting the core values of the event program. The color palette and decorations, inspired by typical children's classrooms, included banners, streamer flags, and displays of traditional outfits from various cultures. Booths offering delicacies like puto, ketupat, and samosa added to the festive atmosphere, making the virtual space lively and engaging.

Magnetize!: Learning Through Play

One of the standout mentions in Minister Tong's speech was Ottodot’s game, Magnetize!. This isometric game challenges players to use magnets to solve puzzles and escape rooms, all while learning fundamental science concepts. Magnetize! not only makes learning interactive and fun but also encourages students to collaborate, promoting teamwork and problem-solving skills.

The game systems were meticulously planned to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience. Features such as player name inputs for team formations and a user-friendly interface were designed to appeal to young learners.

Minister's Endorsement: A Boost for Ottodot

Minister Tong’s acknowledgment of Ottodot in his speech underscores the significant impact of the company’s efforts in educational gaming and community building. His words not only highlight Ottodot’s contributions but also enhance its visibility and reputation as a leader in creating meaningful, educational game experiences.

As Harmony Fest '24 wraps up, Ottodot stands out as a beacon of innovation and collaboration, continuing to inspire and educate through the power of games. The festival’s success and Minister Tong’s endorsement mark a milestone for Ottodot, promising even greater achievements in the future.
